Darsie Alexander by Margaret Fox PhotographyDarsie Alexander has been appointed as the chief curator of the The Jewish Museum in New York and will begin her tenure in Mid-March 2018.

Spring Lake, New Jersey Wedding

September 16, 2017

Margaret & Zack – A nonstop celebration

Margaret and Zack met at the 2009 Kentucky Derby, and their New Jersey wedding had a lot of racing around. Let’s see– vows at church, photos at Spring Lake’s landmark footbridge, more photos at the bride’s house beneath a sentimental tree, an ice cream stop at Strollo’s, the beach, the reception at the oceanfront Breakers Hotel with endless dancing and a fraternity brothers’ goblet gulp. We only stood still once, amazed to view our very first hatchet toss at the house stop! A lot more fun than a bouquet toss, for sure.

Joan & Nathan Lyons & SPE

February 10, 2016

Back in the day Margaret studied with  Joan & Nathan in their photography program at the Visual Studies Workshop, vsw.org where she obtained her MFA. We were greatly pleased when they asked to use the portrait she took of them for the Society for Photographic Education’s SPE fundraising brochure.

New Year’s Commission

January 21, 2016

Each holiday season we capture many family photos. This year we had a very special request by our very own, Congresswoman, Nita Lowey, to photograph her 2016 New Year’s greeting. It included her and her husband, Stephen and their 8 grand children. Needless to say the photo session was a blast. The added plus was that our card was sent to her mailing list of 4,000 with our photo credit too!

Tarrytown, NY Pre-Wedding Photoshoot for Ivona & Tony

July 28, 2015

Clear skies ahead – Ivona & Tony – Pre-Wedding Photography

A rainy forecast means luck for droughts, deserts, and one specific couple. Three of Ivona and Tony’s milestones were drenched: their first Manhattan roof-top garden meeting, their one-year anniversary at that same romantic spot, and this summer’s pre-wedding photo shoot in Tarrytown. Ivona’s eyes may have gotten wet when Tony proposed at that anniversary dinner, but not Tony’s knee – it was pouring! The kneeling  tradition was postponed ’til another day, though next to a flat tire instead of a rooftop garden! Whatever works, we say. And by the way, the only waterworks on their July 4th Beacon wedding will be tears of joy.
