DENNIS and MICHAEL – Hooray for Gay! – Wedding Photography

It was a special privilege to shoot this wedding: White Plains’ first gay marriage! And Dennis and Michael did the new freedom proud: stunning in matching tuxes and ties. Were there ever newlyweds who glowed more? And that’s after being together for decades! Before heading off to celebrate at Serafina with family and friends, Judge JoAnn Friia offered the couple final words of advice: “Now don’t fight!” After 21 years together, we’re not worried.

Irish Eyes Were Smiling! – Wedding Photography

My half-Irish self was doing a jig (Margaret speaking here) throughout this shoot at The Links Golf Club, starting with the sight of the entryway’s Gaelic signage “cead mile failte” (translation: a hundred thousand welcomes). We could have been in Ireland itself, what with a bagpiper’s melodies as background and La Grangeville, NY’s, emerald hills, pewter skies and rustic silos as backdrop. Were those the giggles of flower girls or leprechauns out here in the field? Either way, the luck o ‘the Irish flowed.

Welcome

Welcome to our blog! We are so excited to feature the best part of our work: sharing the most extraordinary days in the lives of the wonderful couples we meet, and chronicling that day in photographs that reflect their unique love and joy.  We’ll be posting photos and little stories about those couples here, as well as helpful tips, products and services. So check in with us often, and let us know how we can help make your own unique day just as extraordinary. We can’t wait to meet you!
